The mission of the Advisory Council for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ACDHH) is to advise the Director of the Office for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (hereinafter referred to as the Director) on the development of policies, programs and services affecting people who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (Section 3, Act 1997-37).
The following dates are scheduled for the ACDHH meetings:
December 3, 2010
March 4, 2011
June 3, 2011
September 2, 2011
December 2, 2011
The meetings are held four time a year at the OVR building on 1516 North Sixth Street, Harrisburg, PA from 9:00 A.M to 3 P.M.
The meetings are open to the public.
At the conclusion of the meeting, there is an open time slot for visitors to address Council. This is called “Public Time”. This allows you to speak to the Council of any concerns that you may have. If Council could answer your questions at the time, they will. If not, the Council will try to have an answer at the next meeting.
